My Brother's Wedding
Charles Burnett, 1983/2007, HDCam, 82 min, director's cut!

Wise, funny and heart-breaking, Charles Burnett's long-delayed second feature, after Killer of Sheep, follows an aimless young man who works part-time in the family dry-cleaning business and seeks solace in a nostalgic escape to childhood, albeit one burdened by the decimation of his generation through violence and incarceration.
